I'm 4 years post BK with a nice array of credit cards from Lowes (1000), Dillards (1500), Orchard (950), Exxon (200), Target Guest (200), Jareds (3500), and Zales (2500) to Patelco (2500), and Cap 1 (2250) plus a new home (mortgage) we moved into 3 years ago. We just refi'd to a lower interest rate and pulled just a little cash out to pay off Jeep and Roomstore bill. I got a preapproval from Juniper but from reading about them here I don't want the offer. But I would like to try for something that is not Subprime. Am I ready? I want to wait another month or so before pulling Myfico scores because I want the refi stuff to post and my $0 balances on the cards to show as well. Whom is my best shot for a decent card with a limit more than 2500? Or am I dead in the water with the BK on record? Am I pretty much subprime until the BK falls off in six years? I'm not that desperate for another credit card however I would love to get one with like 0% interest for six months so I can buy a new flat screen for about $3000. But want I want and what I need are oh so different.
