I originally heard of Patelco via this board. Eleven months after filing C7 BK, I refinanced my auto loan with Patelco for only 4.2%. Just last week (two years post-BK), I applied for a Visa Classic card with Patelco and was approved for 1k with 14.9% APR. I'm still floored that I went from 16% with Triad Financial to only 4.2% with Patelco. Good stuff! Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences -- you helped me) 14.9% on a credit card's no super bargain, but it beats Household Bank's 20-something%!!!!! And, having gone through BK, I'm surprised to have gotten approved at this rate, at all.
