Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! one word of caution about loan consolidations... you will have to close your accounts with all your cards that you use as part of the agreement with them. To the guy above this post... you will get around 3 to 5 k if you ask for it...

Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! Regarding Loan amount for car refinance: My loan amount is only 9300, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.
Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! Are you sure they pulled Equifax and not Experian? They claim to only use Experian, and everyone else who has posted seems to concur...
Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! discover and amex pulled equifax which has no negatives, patelco pulled experian
Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! LOL I did the same thing CONGRATS on the approval!!!! Ask for an increase...they've been pretty generous!!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! Its wierd.... I have membership with Experian...and from Experian site, my score is like 632..been consistant for a while. But, when i went to the branch to open a membership (required to have for the MC), i saw my fico only 577. Where do they got that number if they only pulled out from Experian???????? Make me mad cause i request a credit limit increase based on 632 but I understood why they decline me if looking at 577. Thks!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! Dont know why i duplicate posting on this. What do you mean Experian isnt fico? Can you elaborate? Is that mean i have to pull my credit score from www.myfico.com not experian.com?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! Each credit bureau has it's own scoring system....fico is closest to Equifax...experian's number is as useless as TU....but when you go for a mortgage they take your middle score from all 3......

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! So, its useless to be happy with 632 experian score huh? So, the rule of thumb, creditor look into Equifax score closer than other credit buereu? Thks!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! They have a contract so to speak with whoever...some have two so who they pull and where is a big ?....for instance Crap 1 pulls all 3....each time you apply for credit it's based on who they pull...if you apply for citibank for instance, they ususally pull equifax for me but they've pulled experian........I think it's based more heavily on your utilization, derogs and history or length of
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! I should also say those are the key factors that effect your score (utilization, history, derogs) AND some cc have their OWN scoring internal system...the numbers you get are really just guidlines....
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Patelco Rules!!!! Approved!! So that I understand better are you guys saying the score that counts is actual the equifax score.
