Got a respone back today from a CA. I'd disputed acct with CRA and they must've got the paperwork. It's funny they sent me the initial letter you get when your account is being turned over to an agency(The very first letter) In the letter it has this funny line which states Failure to respond back will result in us reporting this debt to equifax bureau!! Also on the back you know it gives the standard write-up about 30 day blah,blah,blah.... They've screwed up. Obviously they've already reported the debt on my report and have been for 2 years, since i know i have to pay this one, and validation proof will result in giving me the "Proof" should i tell them since you've already reported this the only way i'll pay you now is to remove it and i'll pay? Or pay for deletion?

GET IT IN WRITING!!!!!!!! You pay, they remove within 72 hours. They remove, you pay within 72 hours. Doesn't matter. But get it in writing with a legible signature from someone with the authority to make that decision.
