I don't know what that CASH stuff is either. If attention can't take credit cards, a lot of us will never pay.

Idine is a program where you get money back on meals you purchase. But you register your credit card, then when you go to a member restaurant and pay with that credit card, you automatically get a rebate on the price of the meal. It only works if you charge the meal on a registered card, so paying cash won't get you any rewards.

    How much $$$$$$$$$$$

Depends on the plan and the restaurant. Up to 15% of the total bill, including tip.

And since you just use your credit card, if you go out with friends, get them to pay you cash, use your card to pay the entire bill, you get all the $$$ back.

Look at idine.com. Now called rewards network, but that will get you there.

    You'll think I'm joking but I'm not....

Yesterday I received a collection notice from

    Attention, LLC
    P O Box 2308
    Sherman, TX

Now if everyone would just chip in $1.50, I can get this small debt paid (okay, kidding on this part only, but I swear this is the name of the CA).

Now then... Should I pay Attention?

Only if they do not disregard your request for validation and they agree to delete it.

well lbrown if the CA would PAY ATTENTION maybe they would comply with the FDCPA and not IGNORE a consumers request to C&D :)

now is this ignore 101 or pay attention 101 ? lol

I don't care if they're attention or not, don't pay them if they don't validate.

I believe you. I just did a Google search for Attention LLC, and after wading though the hits for Bud Hibbs's site, I found this one:

Attention, LLC, a division of West Corporation, is a national company providing accounts receivable management services and collection of past due or delinquent accounts to banks, retail and utility companies and various other types of clients. Our management is comprised of proven collection industry professionals. Attention offers an excellent benefit package for their employees. To find out more, visit Attention at www.attentionllc.com.

Since it was part of monster.com, maybe they need more reps!

Their actual site is in the text above.

So should we ignore attention or should we disregard them?

Well maybe if I was hired as a rep, then I wouldn't have to pay Attention... because I could just delete my file. hey, I could fix it so all my friends here didn't have to pay Attention either. Nah, I don't think I could stoop so low as to be a CA.

I don't know if we'll ignore or disregard, but we sure won't pay Attention! Not this one, anyway.

Because he is losing his popularity at the box office and you want to help him out by making another hit movie of him?

That first one was indeed hilarious. Good show!
