I am going to pay off the judgement listed on my credit. It is from a couple who own a few rental properties. Before I pay off the judgement, I want them to sign something which states they will have the entire record deleted from all CRA's. I didnt notice any sample letters which I could provide for them. I've read about Universal Deletion Forms, but cant find anything like that online, or on the sample letter section of this forum. Does anyone have something like this I can provide for them? Thanks
I'm not really sure they have the power to do this. I am new here, lurking for a while now, so I'm sure someone in the know will answer but the way I understood it, judgements were public record. Once entered, the are never deleted (unless vacated by the court). They will eventually age off a credit report and some people report sucess in having them deleted after disputing with the CRA. However they still exist in some dusty old leger book in the clerks office.
