I had a CA send me a letter back saying that they cannot delete with payment according to appendix C of FCRA. " Engaging in credit bartering, or deleting negative information in exchange for payment is violation of" the FCRA. NO DELETION. I haven't seen this before, any ideas? I look up FCRA but I can't find any Appendix C.

Appendix C is a figment of a creative CA's imagination. It probably works well - until you come up against us! Appendix D is the smart a$$ coming out in me. Who is the CA?

You now have it in writing. To insist that removing a TL from ones CR is illegal, is in fact a violation. LOL
HA!!!! That's great - I used to be an English teacher so it cracks me up when someone is attempting to be intimidating and "lawyer-like" but don't even have enough brains to use spell check! Funny stuff - in your next letter to them you should include a copy of their letter and make spelling corrections in red ink...
