Hello There, I just try to setup a business/premier account like they offer from the website it keeps on asking for a company name and I don't have a company yet. so does that mean that without the company name I cannot get the premier/business account because that is the only way to obtain the paypal debit card anybody have feedback to this please advice.... Not only do you have to have a business name, you have to have a business banking account at some other banking institution. That means either getting a DBA or incorporating and setting up the banking relationship and then going for the paypal account. That's my experience. I have mine set up as Tarless Filters because I am a distributor for that product and I also have a DBA for creditwrench but just have not went ahead with the rest of it, although I really should do that because it throws(scares) people bit when they go to the paypal account and see that it's for TARLESS FILTERS. Just another little detail that does need taking care of in the near future
Yes, but you could set up a personal account. CreditWork$ has an account with PayPal, great way to accept credit card payments. The least expensive an easiest way I have seen. www.creditsense.com
i have both a business premier (attached to a defunct savings account for verified status) and a personal account. I have no business name, i have no business license, nor business checking account. I have the top tier rate for transactions (2% not 2.9%) and also have the Paypal premier Debit card earning 1.5% cash back on purchases). The 1.5% cashback on DEBIT card purchases is a wonderful idea. I put my cash into the paypal account which earns interest (piddly 2.7%) and then get a 1.5% kick back instantly on purchases I make.. Think about that
