Read the terms for these cards. I just applied online and received the lowest card they offer 23.9!!!, 59 annual fee, processing fee and initial line of 1K, they checked Experian by the way, funny it cost me 3 points, yet the only are giving you 2 back when you get one removed hmmmmm. The screen asks whether you accept or decline, I declined being 12.9 is my highest card and just received Amex blue, who are they kidding??? By the way Experian was 704 went down to 701 after they pulled it.
that sucks for that score!! But for those folks who are going to apply for the aria card, i'd suggest this before. at least it has a grace period.
Yes I know I was shocked to say the very least. I also called them to make sure of my decline of those terms and the card, the rep said it takes 24 hours after initial approval and asked why I was declining, I basically told him that those terms were not what I carry now and see now reason to accept them. I will call again tomorrow to confirm my denial, curious if they will offer me better terms, but then again it's providian so I doubt it. But yes the ONLY good thing was a grace period.
With this recent low offer from paypal I am really thinking this CE score is NOT the same score the creditors are seeing. I am going to try and find out tomorrow when I call them to confirm my cancellation if they will tell me the score they received from Experian. According to CE it was 704, yet I got offered the worst card they had, hopefully they will tell me the score b/c something seems way off here.
