Can some one help with this.... I have a collection on my CR that shows paid in 3/1999 on Experian but as open and owing $12 on Equifax but date of last activity as 3/1999. Shoudl I a) dispute it? b) tell the collection agency I want it removed bceause of their screw up? I'm worried if they show it as closed, it will then update the "last activity date" and it will stay on for another 7 years.... Help please!
Dispute it, and the DOL cant be restarted..Do a search on here for collections and you will get plenty of answers
