Wrote EXP a letter about inaccurrate personal info. I included it all in one letter, which was probably my mistake. The incorrect names and place of employment were removed, but an obviously inccorect spouse name of 'A' remains, along with many addresses. The addresses are all places I've resided, but only two in the last seven years. Several of the addresses are repeated w/no real differences. 1) Is there a time limit on addresses? I may have blown removal by acknowledging in my last note they were mine but they're all over ten years old. 2) The multiple same addresses thing is SO obviously incorrect. I am worried that someone looking at this will think I've lived in ten different places in the last few years. 3) Do I write a letter for EACH old address or have I lost that option now? Thanks, Dan
Don't want to drag you down, but EXP is very bad about not removing blatantly invalid information. And as far as they're concerned, if you've EVER lived somewhere it's a previous address. Should have written them "I've never lived there, or there . . . " It's not too late, thou. In my opinion, wait 1 or 2 months, then send them a letter stating that ALL your addresses besides the current one are incorrect, that you were born in the house you're living in. Here's where you get the short end. If ANY of your CA's or OC's or any other account has you with one of the previous addresses, and sends an update to the CRA the address will re-appear even after you've gotten it deleted. Hope this helps. ChrisB
