I've been reading and searching and haven't found an answer to this question. My apologies if I've missed it. All three of the CRAs have errors in my personal information. One even has two wrong names under also known as (makes me feel like a criminal). My addresses are incorrect (slight variations of the same address), and multiple variations of my current employers name over the past 6 year. One of the them even has the wrong birth date! Should I bother trying to clear this up or won't it help me? EXP 541 TU 575 EQ 578 yes, they're mighty low. My BK7 was discharged 12/01. Thanks for your help! Kat
You can have those removed pretty easily by calling them. Just tell them they are incorrect. As far as helping you, if you are going to be cleaning up your credit reports, it is a great place to start.
