I recently disputed personal information on my EXP report. I disputed addresses, which they removed. However, they refused to remove the ten spelling variations of my name, because"We store information based identification information provided by us by credit grantors and providers of public records. You will need to contact the credit grantors to change your name. Once you notifiy them, the change will appear in our records." What do I do now.... Can the creditors tell cra what my name is, instead of me? Aren't they legally required to provide "accurate information".
Call back and hope they hired someone with half a brain. I had the same problem and they fixed it right away. Kellie
