I just got off the phone with Mr. Cooke, sent in a line increase request via PFB.... He states that they need to evaluate my credit report and it could take a couple days... I asked if it would be an inquiry or a Account Review, he said either... In the past Cap1 has not pulled a report.. is this new? I have 3 cards, oldest is about 32 months.. what gives? I will have to ask him more when I find out their decision.
Not to jump your thread but, how much of a stickler is Cap One about their 6-8 month wait for a cl increase?
Thanks for the information. Sounds like new policy to me. I was just going to call and ask for the increase but I'll wait for a few months if this is the case.
I tried for an increase thinking it had been 6 months, they wouldn't do it. It had only been 5 months. Gib
Well I do not know the details, but I called the automated line and it appears they gave me $300 a card. They were at $200, $900, and $1k, so I guess that is not too bad, pretty decent increase % wise. I think he was a bit nervous at increasing 3 cards at once for me. Oh well.
