PFB- good response from Citi & Amex

    Hello,

    My Citi Visa account was being reported to TU as "closed by consumer" when it was an active account. All three CRA's showed incorrect balances.

    I used PFB to complain to Citi and 3 days later I got a phone call from Citi with an apology for the problem and an assurance that the corect status is now shown.

    The correct bal is showing on Eq today and I'll wait to pull a TU to verify. But all in all I was pleased.


    I also PFB'ed Amex asking for a balance update - this morning my Amex balance is shown as 0 (down from 4,700) and my Eq scores jumped 20 points

    Thanks to the board for telling me about PFB.

    Thank you for suggesting PFB for balance updates.

    I guess I have been thinking that they were only for more "serious" issues.

    I think I'm going to give it a try.
