Left a message on PFB in early July, just got a letter from Mr. Cook this week - four months?

However, the CL increase, fee credits and "upgrade" to Platininum happened four weeks after my post.

I use "upgrade" w/sarcasm because I've never heard of a platinum card w/a $1200 limit.

Your letter will be read, your circumstances considered. Just remember that Cap1 has its builtin limitiations. I will not see an CL increase for about a year - it's randomly done "pro-actively". (I hate that word - means you're FOR being active. "Active" would suffice:)

PFB took about 3 weeks. Got a call from Mr. Cooke. Nice guy. Dropped my annual fee. That was my main thing.

I sent a letter via PFB on Oct 20th and I just received an email from Amanda Mays. I called and talked to her about my lousy $300 Platinum limit and she informed me that I wouldn't be eligible for an increase for six months but she will re-review my application without placing any hards on my credit report and will notify me within 46-72 business hours.

I figure the worst she can say is "no."

    I'll let you know.
