Any one with experience - do the letters go to different people each time do you think? Should I re-send a denial through PFB or find another way to send it?

Another way. It will probably go back to the same person in the exec. office.

I sent Captiol One a question through PFB regrading a interest rate decrease. A rep called me within 3 days and lowered my rate to 7.9%.

Thanks! I have had good luck with 1st USA on PFB - deleted the TLs within 24 hours, but nasty old Citi sent me a denial letter.

Ridiculous that they will delete negative stuff, but not my closed paid 6 month TL. (Its destroying my average age.)

My goodwill request to Sears VP went to to credit dept which just gave standard denial.

    Re: Re: PFB Question

I wrote in via PFB (non-shared letter) asking for deletion of multiple paid closed accounts that were only open for a few months because my biggest problem is average age and too many accounts. I used a version of the goodwill letter and asked to delete the inactive tradelines. I didn't hear back from them, but all of a sudden the TLs were gone and so was an extra that I didn't even know was theirs! I haven't had to deal with any negs on my report, just one late pay from 98 that came off easily with an online "never late". I have been working with Pop on his reports and he has some bad stuff, but no BK.

I wish I could be of more help! I think I just got lucky. Keep trying - persistance pays! :)
