has anyone ever been approved after being declined and then approved using PFB for a reconsideration??? if so what companies were you successful with?
Thanks Nana, I did find out that chevron is NOT bk friendly and I was also denied by household due to a BK-13, just letting you know so yyou can save some other poor soul a hard inquiry, Neither one would reconsider with PFB
Trent it really depends. BofA, Chase, Citi, and others can and do reconsider, but it is on a case by case basis and you have to have a really compelling reason why they should reconsider.
Union plus denied me and denied me again after PFB, I am 6 months out of a BK-13 and I paid everyone 100%, If I had it to do over it would be a & and pay noone. I would be better off and credit would be easier to rebuild.
Look on the bright side, a discharged 13 only stays on for 7 years... if you did a 5 year payment plan and your 6 mos out of it, you only got 1.5 years to go.
Re: Re: PFB reconsideration OK, thanks, will add them... I'm sorry this happened!! I was a 13 and I wouldn't do it again, either! I'd do a 7 if I had to...so I understand! Just checked..looks like I already had them on the BK unfriendly list (#26) but it's really good to get more info on whether they are still processing with the BK unfriendly attitude... So, it really does matter on the type of Household card you apply for when dealing with a BK... Thanks for the info!
