I had just gotten denied for a BofA Gold. After reading here about PFB, I tried it. The reasons for denial was basically "too few accts". So I wrote asking for consideration for a Classic. Well, I just got a call about 30 mins ago from a Robin Bricklin, who said she is going to recommend me for approval, and I will know in 24-48 hrs! Well, even if I don't get the card, I still like the fact that they are re-considering. Trina
Robin is a wonderful lady. I sent a letter to her, on my wife's behalf requesting a CL increase. She increased her limit from $1,500 to $10,000! GOOD LUCK!
Yes she is, I also spoke to her about reconsideration and got my secured account, unsecured and credit limit raised. I got $1000 from $500 and I had the secured account for not even 8 months I do not use the card a lot because I LOVE MILES and right now can only use Citibank I know I could change my account to some BofA affinity card but I tend to put all the miles to one basket.
OK, you caught me!! My wife has had the card for 11 years(she got the card at 21yrs old) and yes they pulled a HARD on TU! Her score is 736.
trina, she is real nice. i was denied at first because balance's was to high so i asked for bt & she gave it to me 8.9%.
Ok, I just HAD to post. I am a card carrying member of the Robin Bricklin fan club! I was denied initially for my first BoA card, and I read a thread prior on the board about reconsideration with BoA. Needless to say I contacted her. She never questioned where I received her info, she just told me she would reconsider. At the time, I just wanted to get my foot in the door, so when she asked me what type of CL I was looking for, I said 1k. Well, I received a call from her a few days later telling me she had approved me for 3k. I was SO excited. She is a very nice lady to talk to. Because of her, and the overall custemer service I have received, I would say BoA is the best bank by far. I have NEVER had a CSR say anything rude to me. Now that I think about it, I think I am actually going to send her a Xmas card this year!
