On my equifax report under pg a tradeline that was listed under a CA is now being listed back under the OC name.. according to equifax gold this tradeline is still listed under the CA.. which is right???
DOESNT REALLY MATTER WHAT IS RIGHT IS UP TO YOU TO DECIDE. THIS IS A GREAT CASE OF REPORTING AGENCY V RESELLER. If you have not already done so, make yourself learn'd of the FACT/FRCA 2004 relevent to RESELLERS. Here is the link: http://www.ftc.gov/os/statutes/031224fcra.pdf This change has a HUGE potential for suits
Um... Duh. But of COURSE it matters. (grin) I realize you're being flippant here, Hiding, (lol) but I've totally lost your actual meaning. Personally I wish the reports had a "report current as of date" on them." Then you'd just eyeball each report and see which is current. Also these tri-merges can get downright confusing at times. Okay, you've tickled us with the teaser. Now spill your guts. Tell us your cloaked meaning. Hiding is hinting... Sounds like a super idea, but that puppy is 86 long pages. Can you give a stronger hint of what we are looking for specifically. Come on .... don't be such a TEASE!
Ok.. hiding I understand about the resellers.. and yes it does matter to me.. Does the CA still have the account or did the send it back to the OC? Its not a large debt $221 I think according to the CR.. However who has it makes a difference..
What's on your printed report, the one the CRA mails to you, is what I use. It's the "real" thing, if there is any such thing. PG, Worthknowing and EQ often get things wrong online. When EQ first changed their report format last summer, it had a LOT of problems. I think it's in better shape now, at least, for my report.
ok. I should be getting a printed copy in the mail soon of my Eq and TU reports.. I guess I will have to wait and see..
