Hi All, I am new to this group and have a question.... Does PG or WK show the items that are in dispute with any of the CRAs? If so, how would I identify this? Thank you for the education on cr I have recvd thus far. Best Regards.
How the dispute shows up depends from CR to CR, and furnisher to furnisher... I only know from starting with PG this month, how a few 'in dispute' notations are appearing... However, look for something similar to: "Account in dispute-reported by subscriber" (EX) "Account information disputed by consumer" (TU) Those are the way that one trade line is listed on the two CRs that it is appearing on.
Thank you very much for the info! I was wondering approx. how long it will be before I see that the CRA has entered my disputes in their system. Thanks for responding.
Keep in mind, that while failure to update as disputed is a violation, it is not a sueable violation. In order to make it sueable, you need to dispute the account through the CRAs and then they fail to report the tradeline as being in dispute.
Thank you. I will add that bit of info to my mental notes file! This is gonna take some major dedication and committment to get the results I desire. Incidentally, I signed my DH up w/Lex Law and am doing my file on my own. I am very curious to see what happens..... If I indeed kick butt and get better results then I will take control of Dh's stuff in the new year. Much learning to do.... Thanks for the support and I look forward to contributing some FICOs and stats on myself and DH soon. As I personally love reading other's stats! ;
