Is there a time frame creditors are allowed to call? I gotten calls as early as 8am and as late as 9pm? Isn't there some time frame they are allowed to call? I am getting tired of being woken up so early in the AM....... And if they violate what are the reprecussions on them??? if any

The time frame is 8am to 9pm, in your time zone. Which doesn't mean anything though if some collector in the eastern time zone flunked math and geopgraphy and believes that if it is 8am in the eastern time zone it must be 8 am in the Paific time zone.

I disagree, it means "FDCPA Violation."

One time would probably be considered bona fide error If after you point out to the geniuses that you are in a different time zone, then its a different story. LOL - or if they argue the FDCPA means their time zone.

I suppose Alaska, Hawaii time zones would really freak out someone in the eastern time zone unless they have clocks on the wall.
