Phone Company Hard Inquiry

    Can a phone company pull a hard inquiry when you establish service?

    Yes, because they are extending you credit (long distance, toll charges, etc.)

    I s'pose it's a legit business need after reading the FCRA. It's still irritating. Although I don't know why - it didn't bring my score down - yet!

    PAY THEM A DEPOSIT OF $100 OR ASK THE PREVIOUS COMPANY FOR A LETTER OF REFERENCE...
