the best. Out of 4 credit cards which ones would you rather have.
    1.) Chase Platinum
    2.) Bank of America Platinum
    3.) Citibank Diamond Perferred
    4.) Discover Platinum

I cant seem to make up my mind so I thought I could get alittle insite from the members here??

Let me know the route You think I should go.

From my own personal experience, BofA has treated me the best, and has given me generous limit increases with 8.9% apr. I had a Chase classic, and they refused to upgrade me to a platinum or even gold, even though I have been approved for other platinum cards like BofA and MBNA. I cancelled that one. Citi is good too, from what I hear.

I applied for the chase wal mart master card, as I heard it was easy to get. My TU Fako was around 590ish when i applied. Recieved the card with a $200 limit. Next week a couple of derogs came off and my TU fako went up to 690ish.

So I called and bitched about my cl and apr (it was 19.99%). The guy converted my wal mart card to a Chase Platinum with 9.65% apr and $4000 limit.

But I had to take a hard one on TU for it. But was worth it. I dont know if it's a BDD for chase platinum or not..but wal mart card can be converted to chase platinum. I did this only after having the card for 1 whole week.

    Chase Platinum
    BofA Platinum

I have those two..so far so good.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the input. I think I am leaning more towards the BofA. I haven't taken the plunge just yet. I hate those Hard Inquiries.

I have the BoA plat, but only the Chase Continental classic. When Chase gave me my card, I had a chargeoff on my TU, but now thats gone, and I want them to upgrade to plat.....any ideas?

    My picks:

    1.) Bank of America Platinum
    2.) Citibank
    3.) Chase
    4.) Discover

I have the top three, but not the elusive 4th.

As everyone has said Bank of America is a very NICE bank. I have never had a problem with customer service, they always try to go above and beyond. The initial cl seems to be higher than other cards.

Citibank, they watch your cr like a hawk, and if you default on ANY account they kick you to the default rate.

Chase, they aren't the friendliest bank. Needless to say, they are going in the sock drawer until my terms and limit improve.

Well I did it. I applied for the BofA Plat Visa. Took an inquiry on TU. It came back application pending and gave me a web site to check the status in 24 hrs. Now I am worried. With a TU FICO of 740. I guess we will have to wait and see.

It took them 72 hours to approve me.

I just got off the phone with Chase, and they upgraded me to the Continental World Mastercard.

I now have the BoA plat and the Chase Continental World Mastercard.

I now have exactly what I want in my wallet.

Congrats. I tried that when I activated the first one and CSR told me 9 months.

I think chase has already started transferring my stuff over to the continental world card. All of my balance, miles etc disappeared.
