Wooohooo! I received a letter in the mail from Citibank. On the outside of the envelope is says OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT. Anyway, as I have mentioned earlier, I joined consumer credit counseling in 1998. Then I finally paid the account off recently but they kept reporting it as MANAGED BY CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELING. Anyway, after calling many times they still would not make the changes. Finally, I wrote Planet Feedback. I did not hear from them for a few weeks so I thought they would ignore it. Anyway, I got a letter in the mail stating that they submitted the changes to the credit bureau on the 14th of this month. They said that my account will no longer say it was managed by consumer credit couseling and it will reflect a zero balance. THey said I should see this reflected on the credit report within 30 day. However, they also said that once they report the correct information it is up to the bureau to update. Anyway, I'm so excited because I almost have this straightened out. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT SUGGESTED I TRY PLANET FEEDBACK!!!! IT WORKED!!!! NOW IF ONLY SEARS WOULD MAKE THE CHANGES. They contacted me and told me they would send my request to the appropriate dept. Oh well...one step at a time. Thanks again!
