    Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what all your experiences with PFB were in regards to the actual CRA's. Have you guys tried writing letters to the 3 CRAs, TU, EXP, and EFX? I noticed the letters go directly to the CEO. Is this through email or is it through snail mail they print and send it?

    How was your experience?

I have not written PFB in regards to the CRA's; at least not yet. I have written to a couple of credit card companies (FUSA & Cap 1). PFB as far as I know (what was done with the two letters I sent) e-mails these letters to the companies. My one letter to Cap 1 was addressed to the CEO, but my response was from the Consumer Advocate Manager. I did receive a number to contact the Manager at and spoke with him. To me that's better than no reply at all and Cap 1 is excellent in responding to PFB letters. So whether it would be sent to the CEO or get funnelled down to someone else at the CRA, I don't know. It all depends on the company you are dealing with.

It is worth a try to send the CRA's a letter through PFB and then follow up with a printed letter sent certified/return receipt. What have you got to lose? If anything, you probably will just have to be persistent.

I was just wondering what the time frame should be for a reply back. I noticed that someone from bayhouse wrote and also saw LKH's msg on there.

LKH - have you heard back from the CRA's yet?

Ender - haven't heard a word. They must think I'm playing. I also sent the letter cerified, r/r with a few other details included as well as my offer of settlement. They have until August 28th, then I have them served.

I wrote to Mr. Mehta about my Providian Visa and asked him to lower the apr and implement a grace period.

That was ten days ago and no response as of yet.

I had some good fortune with PFB in regards to the CRAS. I wrote one to TU and I got a letter from the PA office indicating that they would be handling my Disputes, not the local affiliate anymore, and yesterday i got my results and I had 5/5 disputes deleted in my favor.

In addition, I believe Nana had a good experience throug PFB with Experian. You might want to search it.

I am firing one off to Equifax at this time and I am going to CC Chuck Shumer because he is a strong advocate for consumers regarding credit reporting by the CRAS.

I have had it with EQ they are playing games with my file.

But I suggest you try PFB, what do you have to lose.

I think I will use PFB against all 3 CRA's and also CC all the listed names as well. I will see how they respond and go from there..,

I still plan on filing a lawsuit and sending my demand letter in 2 weeks however..
