Hello all, So I finally heard from Providian regarding my letter via planetfeedback.com. I had asked why I would not be able to apply for a new card since I had a charge off in the past '98. Well, the letter basically said due to my payment history with them, they are not able to offer me a new account with them. Oh well, Providian said no, but Cap. 1 gave me 1K increase. All and all, I have to say I am impressed with planetfeedback.com. It truly is a powerful vehicle. Mike G.
Re: Planetfeedback-Providian R I agree, I got a response from Cap One within 5 hours and got $300 increases on both cards and had the annual fee removed. This was without a CR inquiry. I also sent a complaint to Direct Merchants Bank 3 days ago, but I have not received a reply. I expected that from them. Planetfeedback has alot of influence. Mike
