I am new to the board and reading old threads.

I tried to write a letter to a credit card company. It took an hour and then those s.o.b.'s at PF told me I had to register with them.

PF is full of you know what!!!!!!!!

Don't bother with the idiots. They are wh**rs. Trying to sell your name.

My anger boils over with this king of dishonesty.

The reason you need to register is when they help you with the letter, they will submit your name and address into the letter. It's just like writing a letter at home - you've got to include pertinent information otherwise the recipient of the letter won't know who it's from!

It's not like they ask for your SS# or anything.... just basic information that you'd include in a well written letter. If you're uncomfortable giving out your telephone number, then give out your computer line number. But of course, giving out correct information will only aid you in your endeavor to get your situation rectified.

Your information is already on the internet - giving it to PFB isn't a big deal. Heck, if I just knew your last name or even the first few letters of it and the city you lived in (or much less) I could find your NAZ (name, address, zip and phone number) at any number of sites on the internet. Here's one I've used - http://thinkdirectmarketing.com/freesearch/address.asp.

Remember this *is* the internet - whatever information you don't wanna give up to one particular site is already listed on another one. Wanna find out someone's birthday? www.anybirthday.com.

I think you'd be wise to try PFB again - you may find great success with it.

It seems Cap one & MNBA seem to help and once you get there name # you can call them your self. They did get me 1500 """500 each"" increase on three cards & 29$ check fee remove so it is worth trying, if you got Cap 1, MNBA problems.
