Wife received Summons deliverd by hand at house. I use to read and studied ART OF CREDIT to relieve my credit problems. I went from a 490 to 768 in 6 months. Very helpful website but now they are no longer. Well back to my wife. She has a debt with CHASE BANK for 10,000.00 she has tried to get them to agree to a payment plan. They always refused it. Intill now. They have sent here some paper work with schedale on it and so forth. But then all of a sudden within a couple of weeks they hit here with court papers saying they are suing her for the amount. Now she has made the first payment to them and they cashed it. I need some help with this. She needs to anwser the summons as I looked it up in court and the docs are legit. She has a date to appear. Please help
She will need to file ans answer, and as an affirmative defense she can use the fact that payment arrangements where made prior to the file and move to dismiss the case.
Ok sounds great. Where would I get the form to file. Can you send me a link. I use to you all the forms on ART OF CREDIT. But lost them due to a hard drive crash. Thank you for any info
