Hello Everyone, I have been reading the boards for a while, but this is my first time posting. I disputed a TL on EX, TU, and EQ/CSC Credit Services for Creditor - Performance Acceptance Corp. All the reports were originally showing charged off or charged off/transferred. EX and TU deleted it from my reports. EQ did not delete it, but stated we have researched the credit account and the results are: This account has been updated to show included in bankruptcy/included in the bankruptcy of another person. Now the current status states: Account Included in Bankruptcy; Whose Account â?? Individual Account. I'm not understanding how I am responsible and why it's on my report. I have never filed for BK. If the creditor is in BK how can they verify it? How should I proceed from this point? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!
Is this your account, or did you cosign for someone or do you not know who it belongs to? The Big 3 CRAs recently agreed to not report accounts as "listed in the bankruptcy of another." I can't find it now. If you were a cosigner on this account and the other party declared BK, the CRSa can't list it that way on your account.

Yes, this is my account, but I have not co-signed for anyone or ever filed BK. Any suggestions. Thanks!
