Hi I don't know what to do...I'm considering bankruptcy. The bankruptcy lawyer that i've been talking with is advising me to do nothing since I'm on social security and my debt is all credit cards and personal loans. If I do nothing what will happen and how long will it stay on my credit report........

It will stay on your report for 7 years. If you have judgements, or get judgements, although they can not take your social security, they will be on your reports for at least 7 years. After 7 years, they can renew the garnishment, and it continues on and on and on.
If you are seeking advice on how to deal with your report, read the intro's and try asking more specific questions. Many here will help.

I think G1 meant renew the judgemnet.

    Don't worry about garnishment.

And no, they won't go after you criminally. (pre-supposing you haven't done anything criminally)

You will want to study up on "PARTIAL Cease & Desist".
