Received green card...waited 10 days...disputed with CRA. 30 days are up and low and behold the item was changed from "CONSUMER DISPUTES - REINVESTIGATION IN PROGRESS" to Revolving or Option Credit Card - Revolving Terms Acct Status: Open Closed Monthly Payment: $0 $0 Date Open: Apr, 1998 Apr, 1998 Balance: $0 $0 Terms: N/A Revolving High Balance: $332 N/A Limit: N/A $1,000 Past Due: $0 $0 Remarks: SETTLEMENT ACCEPTED ON THIS ACCOUNT Election of remedy - reported by subscriber Payment Status: Bad debt& placed for collection& skip Legally paid in full for less than the full balance What does that mean? "Election of remedy" and if there is 0$ past due...why is it a negative tradeline? Any comments?
