You guys are complete geniuses when it comes to this stuff and I need some advise. On my Equifax (not on TU or Exp) credit report there is a tax lien going back to 1995 for $1601 that I thought had already been paid years ago. I come to find out that it has not. (more wreakage of the past coming back to haunt me). My question is what do I do now? Do I call them and see if they will take an offer? Will they consider not reporting it if I satisfy it? A dispute letter was just recently sent out on it. Do I wait to see if it comes back deleted? Man, I'm in pins & needles. Please, I'm waiting for your expert advise. Thanks in advance
