I am in the final stages of credit clean-up, as many of you already know. I just have a couple of holdouts that won't go away - they would verify a flat earth. Anyway, I saved all my records from the time of my deafult (Call me the ultimate packrat). I will be includinga copy of teh first bill showing a past due amount for each account. Please critique my letter. Thanks. Attached please find a copy of the April 18, 1997 statement to me from MBNA showing a single past-due payment. This statement establishes the date of first delinquency as occurring in April 1997. I am sending this letter BEFORE it is obsolete. My "This is Obsolete, take it off" letter will be a Summons to Court to pay me $1000
Sounds like you are using a CRO!!! no, only kidding! This is an excellent example of why everyone should keep records forever. It is hard to argue when you have it in print!
Yup. The letter sounds good. I just wish I had kept my statements from ~March of 1998. If I had, I could prove Discover is full of crap. Oh well, I learned my lesson. I keep all of them now.
Here are 2 things that you don't ever want to throw away. 1*Anything that you think you might need. 2*-Anything that you think you don't need.
