Hey everyone, Tommarrow I have my appointment with my Lawyer concerning Trans Union mixing up my report with my dad, guess what....me my dad and mom all have the same online file number, isn't that crazy! Trans Union messed up big time, I cleaned up all my report with all those account that where my dads a few months ago and now they deleted most of my CC and Car Loan and mortgage account all open and current, when my dad disputed his report. To bad I have to pay $ 250.00 tommarrow to the lawyer, but in the long run, it will be probubly one of the best investments I have ever made. =) Wish me luck.....I gave up with Trans Union already, i'm to scared to dispute and get current accounts deleted in masses, so I'll let my lawyer do the job. Does anyone know what address the lawyers write to when disputing? is it the same consumer address as when we dispute? are their letters handle with more attention? has anyone had to hire a lawyer to fix mixed and re-insert deleted items?
Online file numbers are different from hard reports direct from TU - I know you know your files are mixed up--but for others that doesn't mean alot.
That didn't come out right. ---For others that may notice exact same online file numbers (DH's and mine are the same), that doesn't mean your files are mixed up.
Re: Re: ==Poor Little Guy vs. Trans Union== YEP, you are right GEORGE....but the scary part is that when my creditor pull AR's they are pulling my report and possibly my dads which is mixed merged what ever they wanna call it. See having the same online file number is also a problem the lawyer said, reason is my dad has the same name as me and same file number, when he disputed online he stated his SS and DOB Trans Union said forget that we have the right file number lets go by this number, so they ended up going in the wrong file deleting the files from my report, and Trans Union online and electronic file numbers to creditor is probubly the same, thats why my creditor see my dads report on my files. See Trans Union thinks they are doing the job right becasue the names and files match but the SS and DOB don't. Two Diffrent people.
