Just got a 4.9% APR from Chase till 5/01. I will like to see some more positive posts on this board. Lets have some good experiences posted. http://www.creditsense.com
Just got a Quicken Platinum card from Citibank USA. Intro rate is 0.0 percent for first six months, then 13.4 percent. Balance transfer rate is just OK: 5.9 percent.
Positive: Every one of my cards with a balance is sitting on a balance transfer offer! 2.9 on Universal through May 01, 2.9 Citibank (soon!) through July, 3.99 Chase through April. 0% purchases through Feb for FNANB, which I will use for my DisneyWorld trip next month. Negative (or positive): Just got a call about my 'pre-qualified' status for an Aspire Diamond Card. Knowing what I know about Aspire, I asked what the APR was. This guy was able to tell me "28 point 25, but there's no annual fee...balance transfers are available" WITHOUT LAUGHING! Glad to say I don't need this card.
I didn't get any new credit accounts, nor do I want any. Still, I had a really good day today! Nothing really special happened. I just chose to have a good day. If any of y'all didn't have such a good day today, just choose to have a good one tomorrow--then have it!
Well, I dont' have anything to write home about but I applied for that 60 second decision at Cap 1 and I was approved for immediate $200 Credit Limit. I can't believe they give you your acount number and everything right then. (I know I get excited over the small stuff, but I thought it was neat) Hehehe, it's something positive anyway! Kelly
Hmmm....lessee, a Crossing Pointe catalog (women's clothing, a subsidiary of Blair) showed up last night for me with $300 preapproved credit. OK, so maybe it's a baby step, but it's a big one for me! ;-) I have been a Blair customer for a long time, and although their merchandise isn't often the best, they DID extend me credit when no-one else would (so I could buy curtains, for example...) AND I found out earlier this month after ordering my reports that they have been reporting my perfect payment history with them to the 3 bureaus. So, I guess I'll place an order. Cheers and Prosperity, Cindy
