Can anyone tell me if a positive tradeline gets deleted because I disputed the balance on Trans Union, will it be reinserted when they do their monthly update or do I need to contact TU about it. I hate them! Kara
We sent 4 scathing letters to TU over a period of 6 months trying to get positive tradelines reinserted. We had just asked that they be reported as closed, but they were deleted anyway. We might as well have been writing the man in the moon. Finally, someone suggested emailing Don Richman at TU. We did and within a matter of days he had reinserted the positive tradelines and they were properly marked as closed and with the proper dates. Had it not been for Don, I am convinced they would never have been reinserted and they represented a significant amount of credit history. DemPooches
TU deleted a positive (and old) tradeline in error. When I called about it several months later they checked and reinserted it within a week or so. I don't know how they handle the ones that are disputed though...
I'm sure, though that they'll reinsert negative TL's that were deleted in a hurry though. They deleted my husbands Nelnet student loans, both of them. One is still open, and it shows lates. I know that they'll be reinserted eventually--and I'm sure the lates will be right along with them!!
What is Don Richman's email address if I may so inquire? I had disputed a student loan which had been rehabbed but still showing a 90+ day late and the entire TL was deleted! The Dept of Ed stated that they had sent a response to TU on 7/4 (which was early in the 30 day day period) but TU said they never received it. I need this reinserted ASAP as it is my only reporting open TL. Can anyone help? I would appreciate it! Thanks, ALF
