This may be an obvious question, but: Which state's Statue of Limitations applies to a credit card debt? The state I currently live in, the state I lived in when I got the card, or the state in which the card was issued?
The SOL for being sued depends on the State you are sued in. They can file suit EITHER in the State you now live in, OR in the State you were in when you applied for the card. In SOME States, you may be eligible for a shorter SOL if you have moved there from a shorter SOL State.
