   Did a CH 7 BK in 2000, now looking to rent a new apartment.
   
   Been on the straight and narrow since then but leaser wants letter of "explanation."
   
   What are they looking for??? Any standard prose I should use?

   Easy on is extensive medical bills and/or compounded with a job layoff. Show good current job history and it shouldn't be a problem.
