Post BK Mortgage Reporting

I recently received a Chapter 7 discharge. As for my mortgage, I chose the option of "continue payments" without signing a reaffirmation agreement.

As I expected, the mortgage (Bank of America) now shows as "included in bankruptcy" with a zero balance, etc.

Has anyone had any luck getting their mortgage company to continue reporting in this situation? It's a good credit line for me (never late, etc.), and would be nice to have it reported to help my scores, but I also understand the reason they stop reporting.

If this is "just the way it is", I'm prepared to live with it, but didn't want to give up without asking around.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I think I read a post on another board where one of the posters wrote how BOA started reporting their mortgage as paid as agreed a few months after discharge. That board is down right now so I can't check for sure, but Im almost certain he said it was BOA and that it was their own doing. You may just want to wait a while till some of the paper trail gets finalized and see what happens.

I filed ch.7 and BOA was my primary mortgage holder.

Initially they reported "included in bk", however after about 6 months after discharge, they begin updating my credit report again with "reaffirmation of debt, never late"

This is despite the fact the that I didnt reaffirm.
