(As stupid has it sounds I really did this.)

Since am currently seeking employment I decided to run my credit reports. After paying through Genus Credit for two years, I actually thought my credit would be ok. SO WRONG My reports came back so bad I-freaked-out. So I ran to my father and borrowed money, then sat down a paid everyone. (Thinking that this would help my credit)

Citi Bank cashed a check that should have gone to Sherman Acquisition. Citi Bank refuses to speak to me. I have written letters, faxed copies of the check; I have done everything that I can think of.
Sherman is now showing the account as late.

Please what is my next step? Like I said I wish I had found this site a couple months ago. I am sending validation letters trying to have some accounts deleted but I haven't found a problem similar to this one yet.

Please reply, I know it sounds stupid but Iâ??m afraid it is true.

So did you actually overpay Citibank? Did they get their check and the Sherman check too?

Need more details. Was Sherman collecting for the Citibank account?
