Of course I don't understand this at all...applied for the Amex Hilton card, denied. Turns out there is an entry that should have been updated/deleted (I have the confirmation from the oc about that) but it hasn't yet. Amex says to mail them my hard copy Eq report (not an online or CW version) and they'll reconsider. Okay, no problem. Today a call comes from Amex--pre approved for Blue! huh? "Did I apply for this?" I ask. "Oh no, you've met our criteria yada yada yada" the rep says. So, can I leverage this into an Amex Delta and/or Hilton cards? Would an AU for the Blue account be able to use that as the basis for getting a Delta card?
LOL this whole credit thing is whacked. I can't get Blue, but got an AMEX Starwood, which is basically the same thing as an Amex Delta. You can't get Delta, but are pre-approved for Blue? The monkeys are running the zoo. Congrats on your Blue, anyway.
