    I recieved a " pre selected " credit card offer......exactly what does that mean.

    N O T H I N G!!!!

    They pulled your name and address out of a hat and sent you an application.

    Right, it means they have your name and address. For real "pre-qualified" offers, you can look and see a PRM inquiry on one of your credit reports. If you apply, they will pull from a different bureau. ;)
