Are there loans available a person can get approval on ahead of time for a loan so that when they go car shopping, they already have the financing arranged for whatever car they choose? The last time a friend of mine shopped around for a car, it resulted in three inquiries on his report, one for each dealer he was trying to make a deal with. He has an Equifax score of 730 with a 5-year old BK.
