Wow, this company is a real, well, er, a real doozy!

As you know, my daughter and her soon-to-be-ex went BK. Daughter was not on this card, only hubby's.

Since the BK was completed in May, Premier One has:

    1) Removed money from their bank account causing $100 in overdrawn fees AND admitted it to their BK lawer. Lawyer states that they are to be expecting a check from Premier One for the fees and the money removed. WHAT? Is that all??

    2) Permier One called 6 times within 1/2 hour today (unavailable) while I was on the phone with DD. Finally, she took it and found it was them and they said she had to PROVE her BK. Interesting, since they have obviously heard from the lawyer in a BIG way. Told daughter all the info regarding soon-to-be-ex (STBE)'s account even though she has no account with them.

    They have no limits....

    NanaC,

Woah, that all sounds highly illegal. Seems like her lawyer ought to be preparing to jump all over them for those violations. Has her lawyer been rabidly helpful in the past? That sounds like what may be necessary at this point...

    Good luck to her!

Ok, their BK lawyer has one of the para's handle all this stuff....they seem pretty calm about it. While they tell her to call back if she gets another call (they called Premier 1 today after she called)...they seem sort of laid back about this money from her account thing.

I am wondering why he isn't going further.

I wonder the same thing. That's odd. Perhaps he isn't motivated by money or justice. ;)

If he continues to lay low on this, she would probably have no problems finding a lawyer who would be motivated by one or both of those things... One who would be more of an advocate for her own wellbeing... I would hope, anyway...

I was thinking the same. Or at least do the small claims thing...
