Prime CC? What makes them special?

    I am new and have read about good CC, prime CC, the best CC.

    Why are they good? Do they carry more weight on your credit report or score?

    Just decent rates and terms.

    No fee, 20 day grace minimum, of course.
    What rate? Maybe prime + 0% to 3%.

    What is going rate?

    Low rates, large limits, great service, frequent teasers and in the case of AMEX Platinum the peace of ducking into the presidents club at the airports.
