    I just signed up an account at PG. I went for the 3B report with the EQ score.

    My EQ score (as pulled from EQ web) was 615 in Jan.

    Since then I have gotton 2 deletions of Charge Offs.

    Just now checked my PG score which they say is EQ's and it says 602?

    Anybody now why the decrepency? Is PG a FAKO or do they really calc from the EQ which by my knowledge is
    the only true (fico) score?

    Thankyou in advance for your replies.

    PG is a FACK-O...

    NOT FICO........

    NOT FAKO.......

    It's about +-15 points of your fico, im my experiance.

    I just signed on with pg and got my fako of 702. for eq. My true eq fico is 703. I was expecting more of a difference. Most say expect the fako to be 15 pts higher than the true fico. You can also pay on the tu site to get your true fico. So they say. With exp you are stuck with the fako.

    good luck

    Privacyguard scores are creditXpert.
    They have been very close to my actual FICO scores,
    within 5 points or so.

    I thought the privacy guard score was given based on equifax fako. Their site states this and mine seems to match my eq fako.
    Where did you read that it was creditexpert? Isn't that score experian?

    CreditXpert = PrivacyGuard

    CreditExpert = Experian FAKO

    Thankyou for the good info. I guess that explains it.

    I still wonder?? I guess those 2 deletions of old CO's did not effect me much? I still have about 5 more derogs to clear from EQ. and the CO's that did come off were old -- about 6yrs.

    My score per EQ report pulled from EQ website on March 7 is 462. My EQ score on privacyguard is 552. I know which one I like better, but I don't know whay such a difference.

    My creditXpert/PrivacyGuard score was the same one that the car dealer got when he pulled Equifax. I was kind of surprised at that.

    If you deleted 6 yr old accounts, you've probably impacted the average account age, length of history, etc., of your history. The negtives of these accounts seemed to have less of an impact then the positives they were giving you.
