On the privacy Guard CR, there is a "date open" reference. What does this refer to? The date the account was originally opened or the date placed on report?

None of the dates really jive with dates CC were opened?

    Date the account was OPENED...

There can be another date for REPORTED SINCE

And am I correct to say that SOL for debt colllection (when raising as affirmative to suit and reporting neg data on CR) have nothing to do with this date?

Privacy Guard doen't offer much in the way of determining dates for SOL and the 7 year rule, does it?

Yeah, but I don't think the reported since is on the PG version. I was also trying to figure out when each account reported, but I can't. I'm trying to do my BT so that the account I'm transferring from and to will both be zero, just to see what difference it makes.

Wait until the "from" closes, it will be 0 balance. Then quickly BT "to" before it closes, it will be 0 balance.

It looks like I only have about a week if they both report on the statement date.

No, it doesn't help with the SOL and reporting dates. If you get a hard copy report, it will tell you that it is to continue reporting negative until a certain date. That is the date to work with for reporting.

Depending where you live, you may be able to get a free report. I live in Maryland, we get one report from each bureau free every year.
