Use a virtual account for $1 when sign up. So you won´t have to call after the three months to cancel it.
By the way they don´t charge the $1. Just authorize it .

What is a "virtual account"? I'm looking for the most inexpensive way to monitor my credit reports for the next several months. Also, I signed up for the Equifax, "buy three with scores -get one free in early" February. Would a Privacy Guard account interfere with my current Equifax deal?

With credit card accounts like Citi, they will provide you with a dummy 16 digit account number that is linked to your actual credit card, but expires within a given time frame (about 30 days, or first charge, whichever occurs sooner). Only the original creditor will know to link the dummy account number to the original account number, not the merchant. This is mainly to prevent unscrupulous merchants charging multiple times to the same credit card, or to shop online with peace of mind where your CC number may be stolen.

I know I did not do a good job in describing what a "virtual account" is, but hope you got the idea.
