    Hi,
Haven't seen any updates on this since the big day.
Has everyone's files been corrected yet (except mine)? Would like to hear from those that have not been corrected yet and those that have. Its only been two weeks but my phone call from PG said it would take 7 to 10 days.

    Thanks,
    Todd

Mine had two hards and my wife's had three.

I went the route of threatening to sue for $5,000 if they weren't removed immediately.

All were gone in a week!

DH & I both still have 2 hard inq's. Trying to be patient but it is very frustrating.

Did you write to PG or CIC/Trilegiant ?

    I've got 1 and DW has 2, so $3,000.

When I pulled my report today, the one hard they generated on my TU was finally gone.

I sent an e-mail to the customer service address on the website (see below).

Their e-mail generates a receipt, which serves as proof that they received it.

Then I received a phone call telling me to call some other number.

I said NO... you pass on my number and problem to whomever you need to at PG to get it fixed. That PG was warned of the problem and that it was a $5,000 violation.

Got a call back within a few hours from a very nice manager who took care of it.

I had to fax a request to TU that the hards be removed, but that was the extent of my efforts.

    Text of E-mail:

    To whom it may concern:

Attached are copies of our credit reports pulled today from your service.

(My wife's name) has three hard inqueries showing on Trans Union as a direct result of your services. I have two as a result of your services.

We fully expect these hard inqueries to be removed from our reports within one week.

Otherwise we will be forced to take legal action under the FCRA.

Furthermore, we would also very much appreciate notification when it has again become "safe" to pull reports from PrivacyGuard.

If either of the above requests cannot be complied with in a timely manner, we will also be forced to take our business elsewhere!

    Thank you!

    Thanks, beenaflake.

I'm still sitting on it, waiting to see if they eventually straighten it out. I'm not sure how long before I make contact or send ITS.

I keep hearing reports they're going to fix it "any day now".

No problem til we get ready to finance a vehicle this fall !

    OK !

According to both WK and PG, the CIC/Trilegiant hards are disappeared from me and DWs files !
1 off of mine and 2 off of hers.

Mine are gone (2 hards) as of this morning. Any reason to check TU for accuracy?
